NAME:

ceftiofur hydrochloride injection

COMPOSITION:

100ml:10g  Ceftiofur as hydrochloride 100mg per ml.

CHARACTER:

This product is a suspension of fine particles, after standing fine particles sink, shaking into a uniform milky white suspension.

PHARMACOLOGICAL:

INDICATIONS:

For treatment of respiratory tract, intestinal tract and reproductive system disease.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:

(1) Very few sick animals are allergic to ceftiofur.

(2) Ceftiofur has some renal toxicity.

(3) may cause gastrointestinal flora disordered or double infection.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Intramuscular injection: an amount, weight per 1kg, pigs 3 ~ 5mg, 1 day, once every 3 to 4 days.

PRECAUTIONS:

(1) Shake well before use.

(2) Should not be frozen.

(3) Allergic animals need prompt injection of epinephrine for rescue.

(4) Ceftiofur mainly excreted by the kidneys, renal insufficiency need to reduce the dosage of animals.

(5)Keep out of the reach of children.

WITHDRAWAL TIME:

- For meat:  

  Cattle: 3 days.

  Swine: 4 days.

- For milk: 1 days.

RECOMMENDED SHELF LIFE:

2 years

STORAGE:

Protect from light,store tightly sealed in a cool (10°C-25°C ) and dry place.
